Residents of Divjaka have continued their protest for the seventh consecutive night against the territorial reform, which envisages the merger of the Municipality of Divjaka with that of Lushnja.
The protesters reiterated their opposition to this decision, demanding that Divjaka maintain its status as a separate municipality.
During the rally, citizens repeated their calls to political representatives, demanding that the deputies who have received the votes of the residents be in the square every evening in support of their cause.
One of the most special moments of the protest was the symbolic burning of several Socialist Party “cards” by a group of young people, as a sign of protest against the way of governance and decisions that, according to them, are harming the interests of the community.
The organizers announced that the protest will continue in the following evenings, emphasizing that they will not stop until their demands are taken into consideration.
