Protests against the government and Prime Minister Edi Rama have entered their 69th day this Friday, as citizens continue to gather every evening on the boulevard, demanding the prime minister’s removal and his investigation by SPAK.
For 68 days, protesters have expressed their determination to continue the civic action, declaring that they will not retreat until Edi Rama resigns.
On the 69th day, citizens are expected to take to the streets again, while the protest is expected to be accompanied by a march and calls against the government.
Among the slogans expected to be heard are: “Rama in prison, Berisha in prison”, “Albania wants revolution”, “The end has come for you”, “Edi Rama, resign”, “The homeland is not for sale” and “Unity is power”.
The protesters have also warned of escalating the action, including blocking roads, if their demands are not taken into account.
The organizers and participating citizens have announced that the protest will continue in the coming days, reiterating the demand for the resignation of the prime minister and his investigation by SPAK.
