A conflict between relatives has ended with gunfire being fired at a vehicle on Patoku Street. The incident occurred yesterday afternoon, and fortunately no one was injured.
The police have arrested three people, relatives of each other, suspected of involvement in the incident. Gj. L., 67 years old, his son Gj.(A.) L., 40 years old, and EL, 28 years old, their cousin, were arrested. All three are residents of Laç.
Meanwhile, V. Gj.(L.), 35 years old, the other son of the 67-year-old, has been declared wanted.
According to preliminary investigations, everything started after a verbal conflict between relatives. For weak motives, the suspects allegedly fired at the vehicle in which their cousin, citizen PL, 38 years old, was traveling.
In an attempt to leave the scene, the 38-year-old crashed the vehicle he was driving into another vehicle, causing only material damage.
“As a result of rapid investigative and police actions, carried out by specialists from the Section for the Investigation of Crimes Against the Person, immediately after the report of citizen PL, 38 years old, that yesterday afternoon, in the direction of the vehicle in which he was traveling on Patoku Street, he had been shot with a gun, the location and detention of the citizens involved in this case were made possible, specifically Gj. L., 67 years old and Gj.(A.) L., 40 years old, father and son, and EL, 28 years old, their cousin, all residents of Laç.
Also, the other son of citizen Gj. L., citizen V. Gj.(L.), 35 years old, resident of Laç, was declared wanted.
The investigation revealed that these citizens, after a verbal conflict, for weak reasons, with their cousin, citizen PL, fired a gun at the vehicle he was driving. No citizens were injured in this incident.
Citizen PL, while leaving the scene, collided with the vehicle he was driving, causing only material damage. The 38-year-old’s vehicle was seized as material evidence.
“Work is underway to capture citizen V. Gj. (L.), to find the firearm, and, under the direction of the Prosecutor’s Office, to individualize the criminal responsibility of each of the citizens involved in this case,” the police announced.
The procedural materials were referred to the Lezha Prosecutor’s Office for further action.
