Amidst the great pain of losing her son, Ornela Zuko, the mother of 20-year-old Joan Zuko, has reacted again on social media, thanking all those who have stood by the family during these difficult days.
Through a few lines, she conveyed the pain that only a mother’s heart can feel in these moments, but also her gratitude for every message, phone call, hug or word of comfort that the family has received after the tragedy.
“Our John left unjustly and too soon, leaving behind a void that nothing can fill. But his smile, kindness, love and beautiful soul will live on within us forever,” she writes, among other things.
We recall that the tragic event occurred on Saturday afternoon, where his childhood friend, Kristjan Sterjo, shot him in the back with a Kalashnikov. Unfortunately, as a result of the wound, 20-year-old Joan Zuko did not survive, while the perpetrator was arrested a few hours later.
Before the investigative group, Sterjo stated that he had been in conflict with Zuko for a long time, while it is suspected that the cause of the clash was a conflict related to his girlfriend.
Full post made by Joan Zuko’s mother:
In these days of endless pain, we want to express our deep gratitude to all the family, relatives, friends, comrades and acquaintances who stood by us, but also to all of you, my friends, who have sent me an endless number of messages during the most serious loss of our lives.
Your presence, your comforting words, your hugs, and every gesture of love and respect for our Joan gave us strength in moments when our hearts were broken. The love you showed him proved once again how much it took and how many beautiful memories he left in everyone’s hearts.
Our Joan left us unjustly and too soon, leaving behind a void that nothing can fill. But his smile, kindness, love, and beautiful spirit will live on within us forever.
With eternal pain and gratitude,
Joan’s family!
