Crime is prevented in Divjaka! The Divjaka police received a report that a conflict with sharp objects was taking place in a bar owned by citizen ZK, 50 years old.
Immediately, the Police services approached the scene, where they found citizen Orgito Lamka, 22 years old, and citizen Shahin Xhepexhiu, 51 years old, who had been injured during the conflict with hard objects.
Lamka and Xhepexhiu, after receiving treatment and completing their statements at the police station, left for their homes.
While carrying out actions to fully document the conflict and identify other persons involved, the Police received operational information that one of the perpetrators, Lamka, had returned to the bar a few hours later armed with a pistol with a silencer and was suspected of killing Xhepexhiu.
The timely and professional intervention of the Police services prevented the murder.
Following operational and procedural actions, Criminal Investigation specialists arrested the following citizens:
– Orgito Lamka, 22 years old, with a criminal record in the field of production and sale of narcotics in Albania and Belgium.
A firearm, a pistol with a silencer, with a cartridge in the chamber, ready to fire, was found and seized from this citizen.
– Kevin Sota, 45 years old, with a criminal record in the field of production and sale of narcotics in Albania.
During the search of this citizen’s vehicle, the Police found a firearm, a pistol.
– Serxhio Duda, 28 years old, with a criminal record in the field of production and sale of narcotics in Albania. This citizen was driving the vehicle in which citizen OL had returned to the bar after a few hours.
– Santiago Alla, 30 years old, who attempted to remove the firearm from the vehicle of citizen KS
– Zeni Kule, 50 years old, the owner of the bar, who was arrested for failing to report a crime.
– Shahin Xhepexhiu, 51 years old, for failure to report a crime, as the investigation revealed that he did not tell the truth about the conflict during his statement.
As material evidence, 2 pistol firearms, one of them with a silencer, 4 vehicles and 6 mobile phones were seized.
Firearms will be subject to appropriate expertise.
Investigative actions continue to fully document the circumstances of the conflict, determine responsibilities, and document the criminal activity of the persons involved.
The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor’s Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Fier, for further action.
