Tirana Water and Sewerage has officially reacted regarding the rupture of a water pipeline this Thursday morning in the Sauk area of Tirana. UKT announces that as a result of this defect, there will be partial restrictions on water supply in the areas of Daiasi and Lundra.
Also, according to the Tirana Waterworks, measures have been taken and work is underway to repair the defect and restore water supply in these two areas.
The announcement also emphasizes that other areas of the city of Tirana are not affected by the problem in question.
“Due to a defect in the DN 315 mm HDPE transmission line in the TEG area, there will be partial restrictions on water supply in the Daias and Lundra areas.
We emphasize that as a result of this defect, other areas of the city of Tirana are not affected.
“UKT’s technical staff is taking immediate measures to repair the defect and restore water supply to these two areas,” the UKT announcement states.
