A 20-year-old man has been arrested in Tirana after allegedly violating the “House Arrest” security measure imposed for theft, and committing 8 other thefts within a week.
The police have solved the cases as part of the operation codenamed “Multiple”, while investigations continue to verify whether the young man is also the author of other thefts.
“Tirana/The operation codenamed “Multiple” is finalized. The 20-year-old man who broke the “House Arrest” security measure, assigned for theft, to commit thefts in 8 entities, during 1 week, is arrested.
As a result of investigative actions carried out based on reports from several citizens, for thefts in entities they owned/managed, the services of Police Commissariat No. 4, in cooperation with the services of other commissariats in whose territories thefts had been committed, finalized the coded operation “Multiple”, during which 8 cases in this area were solved and their suspected perpetrator, citizen OH, 20 years old, was arrested.
From these actions, it is suspected that the 20-year-old, during the period 05.08.2026–13.08.2026, stole money and products from 8 entities. During further verifications, it turned out that this citizen was under “house arrest” for the same criminal activity.
“Investigations continue to uncover other thefts that citizen OH may have committed. The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor’s Office for further action,” the Police wrote./Top Channel
