Euronews Albania has managed to obtain footage of the tragic accident that occurred in the early hours of this morning in Manëz, Durrës, where newlywed couple Kleo Vrioni and Sara Brugentelli and a 15-year-old minor lost their lives.
According to the experts’ conclusions, the vehicle was moving at a speed of approximately 114 km/h in the moments before the accident.
The reconstruction of the dynamics of the event shows that, at the moment of turning the corner, the driver lost control of the vehicle. Initially, the front tire on the passenger side hit the curb, causing the vehicle to further lose stability.
After colliding with the curb, the car overturned and then dragged for about 40 meters until it stopped.
Another important element of the expertise is related to the driver’s condition. Toxicological analyses have confirmed that he had consumed alcohol.
