The changes at Top Channel seem to also affect one of the longest-running shows on Albanian television.
After more than two decades at the helm of “Fiks Fare”, Filip Çakuli is expected to step down from directing the investigative show.
According to Vip Magazine, Çakuli and his replacement, Denisa Haxhiaj, have been notified of their departure from the show, while the management of the team has reportedly been entrusted to journalist Antela Lika.
This is a significant change for “Fiks Fare”, a format that has been part of Top Channel’s programming for 25 years and that has been closely identified with Filip Çakuli throughout this period.
Antela Lika is not a new name to the show. She has been part of the team for years and the author of a series of investigations and denunciations broadcast on “Fiks Fare”.
According to the same sources, the show will continue to be part of the screen, but now under a new direction. Up to this point, Top Channel has not made an official announcement about Çakuli’s departure or changes in the direction of the format.
The move comes on the eve of the new television season, at a time when several changes in programs and screen names have been reported on Top Channel. For “Fiks Fare”, however, it is one of the biggest changes in its history, due to Filip Çakuli’s long-standing connection with the show.
