After more than 20 years at the helm of Fiks Fare, journalist and host Filip Çakuli is expected to leave the investigative show, paving the way for a new chapter in the history of the format.
According to sources close to Top Channel, Filip Çakuli and his replacement, Denisa Haxhiaj, have been notified of their departure from the show. Along with Çakuli and Haxhiaj, it is learned that the show’s moderators, Julian Deda and Xhemi Shehu, have also left.
Fiks Fare, the first investigative show of its kind in Albania, has a history of 25 years and during this time has become one of the most popular investigative journalism programs in the country.
It is learned that the leadership of the Fiks Fare team has now been taken over by journalist Antela Lika, one of the well-known names of the investigative team. Antela Lika is the author of some of the strongest investigations and denunciations that have echoed over the years on the Fiks Fare screen.
The change marks an important turning point for the show, which is expected to continue its journey in a new direction, while maintaining its focus on investigative journalism and denouncing issues affecting citizens.
The departure of Filip Çakuli, after such a long period, marks the end of an era for Fiks Fare, while the transfer of direction to Antela Lika is expected to bring a new chapter for the show.
