A serious road accident occurred this morning on the “Shkozet-Shijak” axis, in the Rrashbulli area, where a 32-year-old man who was riding a bicycle lost his life.
According to preliminary police information, the incident occurred at around 06:15, when a still unidentified vehicle hit the cyclist with the initials VH, 32 years old.
As a result of the collision, the young man died at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle fled immediately after the accident, while police are working to identify and apprehend him.
The investigation team is at the scene and, under the direction of the Prosecutor’s Office, is carrying out actions to fully clarify the circumstances and causes of the accident.
