Lawyer: Ultimatum for Duman from America!

A strong statement by lawyer Zace Islami has sparked debate in public opinion, after he claimed that the head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, was given an ultimatum by the United States of America.

According to Islam’s claim, the message coming from the American side was direct: “Either arrest the politicians, or you will be arrested.”

The statement immediately received attention, due to the gravity of the accusation and the fact that it directly affects the functioning of the Albanian justice system, relations with international partners, and the independence of the new justice institutions.

The lawyer’s claim has sparked numerous reactions and questions, especially regarding the way he portrays the role of the United States in relation to SPAK and its leader. If such a claim were true, it would raise a serious debate about the limits of international support and possible interference in the decision-making of Albanian institutions.

On the other hand, the statement remains a public claim by the lawyer and has not been accompanied by evidence or documents to confirm it. There is also no official confirmation from SPAK, the American Embassy or other institutions regarding the existence of such an ultimatum against Altin Dumani.

SPAK and its leader have been constantly at the center of political debate, especially after the investigations and arrests of high-ranking officials and former officials. The strong support that the justice institutions have received from the US and the European Union has often been interpreted in different ways by political and public actors.

Precisely for this reason, Zace Islam’s statement is expected to continue to generate discussions and reactions.

It remains to be seen whether the lawyer will publish further evidence to support his claim, or whether there will be an official reaction from the aforementioned institutions.

What about you, do you believe this version or do you think it’s speculation?
