SHBA “fal” snajperistin shqiptar, që udhëhoqi grupin xhihadist të shqiptarëve në Siri

Abu Katede Albani or Abdul Jashari, a member of the Albanian sniper group in Syria “Xhemati Alban”, is no longer under US sanctions.

The move comes after the State Department removed Syria from its list of state sponsors of terrorism in a move that was initially announced earlier this year, pending a review by Congress.

Classification as a state sponsor of terrorism brings with it restrictions on US foreign aid, defense equipment exports, and certain financial transactions.

Over the past decade, Abu Qatada Albani, originally from Skopje, has led the jihadist group “Albanian Community”, composed mainly of Albanians from Kosovo and North Macedonia.
