Renowned lawyer Spartak Ngjela has broken down the background to the arrival of the new US ambassador to Tirana, General Eric Wendt, warning of major geopolitical moves. According to him, this is not an ordinary diplomatic mission, but a clear mandate to dismantle drug cartels, international organized crime and corruption at the highest levels of power. Ngjela emphasizes that the presence of a high-ranking military figure shows the absolute priority that Washington has given to the modern reorganization of the Albanian army. With this scheme, Albania and the US army are expected to strengthen their military positions directly on Albanian territory.
The ultimate goal is to transform the Albanian army into the most powerful military force in the Western Balkans. This strategic investment also serves as a modern platform for the realization of national unification between Albania and Kosovo. However, the lawyer points to the main political obstacle, stating that Prime Minister Edi Rama could become the biggest obstacle to this historic project.
If this political line continues, Ngjela warns that Rama is making a grave historical mistake. But in a second aspect of particular importance, it is understood that the modern reorganization of the Albanian army should be the one that is thought to have priority. And therefore, if you look at this with a professional eye, it is understood that Albania and the American army are expected to be reinforced in a high-level military aspect, in the territory of the Republic of Albania.
