An SUV, which turned out to be stolen, was found burned in an old military tunnel in the Cerkovina area.
This incident was discovered yesterday evening around 11:00 PM, on an unpaved road connecting Cërkovina with the surrounding villages.
After the notification, the fire brigade immediately went to the scene and managed to extinguish the flames, while the investigation team has launched an investigation into this case. The police are also investigating whether the vehicle may have been used for various illegal activities, considering the fact that the vehicle was inside the tunnel in an isolated area and on an unpaved road.
Police have obtained footage from security cameras in the area, in order to identify the people who left the vehicle in the tunnel. On the other hand, as a result of the burning of the vehicle, the flames have also engulfed an area of vegetation near the tunnel.
