Renowned journalist Milaim Zeka burst into tears during a live broadcast on the show “Albania Live” while commenting on the decision made today in The Hague regarding the former KLA leaders, who were sentenced to prison.
Zeka said that his eldest daughter had gone to protest, while his second daughter, 10 years old, asked him how old Hashim Thaçi was and “is there a risk of him dying in prison?”
“It’s the girls’ problem. The eldest daughter went to protest, while the second daughter, who is 10 years old, said to me, ‘Dad, how old is Hashim Thaçi?’ She said, ‘Is there a risk that he will die in prison?’
Can you imagine 75-year-old Jakup, all of them? The only person who has spoken, that is, what should I say, that I have been speaking for 3-4 years, is Thaçi’s lawyer. Thaçi’s lawyer today pointed his finger at the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, at no one else. Forget the protests or any other action, if the deputies of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo do not gather and put this racist, purely racist court under control, we will go out on the streets in vain. This is touching me, the concern of our children that we have eaten this world. It is a shame”, said Zeka on “Shqipëria Live”.
