On the show “Stop” this Wednesday, September 16, there is another denunciation of notary Anila Haxhiu in Fier.
A couple claims to have been paid 3,200 euros to enable the transfer of ownership of an apartment in Golem, bypassing the regular legal procedure and the declaration of the ex-wife, who was supposed to confirm that she had no claims on the property. According to the couple, part of the amount would be given to the employees of the Fier Cadastre, while the rest would be kept by the notary Anila Haxhiu. The couple claims that they were also asked for 800 euros for an expedited procedure, with the promise that the property would be transferred to the buyers’ names within the day.
“Stop” documents the moment of handing over 3,200 euros to the notary’s office. But the procedure lasted about 3 months and was not completed. For this reason, the couple requested a refund. The confrontation in Haxhiu’s office became tense.
The couple told the notary that the moment of handing over the 3,200 euros was recorded, and at this moment, Anila Haxhiu pushed and hit her husband, and then his pregnant wife. The couple says that the notary then kept them locked in the office for several moments. The police accompanied the couple to file a complaint, while the notary Anila Haxhiu did not accompany them and remained in the office. After the incident, the complainants contacted her ex-wife, who lives outside Albania.
She authorized her mother, through a power of attorney, to give a statement that she had no claims on the apartment in Golem. After that, the procedure was resolved through legal channels, again in Haxhiu’s office.
