Today, September 18th, marks two years since the death of right-wing politician and model citizen, Gerti Bodgani. His brother, Albjoni, remembers him with fondness and says that words cannot describe his absence, for his family, friends and the Albanians who paid their respects.

You are missed by an entire nation, which grieved and stood up to honor you when you left… for what you were and for what you would have been as a leader of great and blessed works for Albania and Albanians!
“May you be a model for the leadership that this nation deserves and for which it suffers! And may your soul rest in peace, brother,” writes Albjon Bogdani, brother of the late politician Gerti Bogdani.
We recall that Gerti Bogdani closed her eyes forever at the age of 44, on September 18, 2024, while she was at the “Rogner” Hotel in Tirana, where she was preparing to participate in a business meeting with local and foreign colleagues.
Unfortunately, he suffered a sudden heart attack and even though he was immediately taken by ambulance to the hospital, doctors were unable to save his life.
Gerti Bogdani leaves behind his wife, Edlira Çepani, and two wonderful children, Ajra and Reinart. He remains a respected figure, a loving father and husband, who will always be remembered with gratitude and love by all who knew him.
