A 27-year-old man has died in Tirana after being taken to hospital in serious condition.
According to preliminary data, the young man with the initials SB was transported to the hospital, but despite medical assistance, he died.
From the information collected so far, it is suspected that the 27-year-old had consumed pesticides, which caused his serious condition and subsequent death.
The investigation revealed that the boy had ingested a cocktail of deadly substances: “In conditions of depression, the 27-year-old consumed organophosphorus substances, as well as insecticides and pesticides, which caused his death,” said the State Police.
The full circumstances of the incident remain subject to verification.
The Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of General Jurisdiction in Fier has issued three new security measures in the framework of the investigations into the illegal acquisition and registration of real estate in the Levan area. The court has imposed the measure “Arrest in prison” on citizen Ervin Habilaj, suspected of being the beneficiary of the properties, as well as the second security measure “Arrest in prison” on the former director of the State Cadastre Agency (ASHK) in Fier, Ertis Shehu. Meanwhile, the measure “Compulsion to report to the Judicial Police” has been imposed on the former topographer of this institution, Emiljano Ruko.
Investigations by the Economic and Financial Crimes Investigation Section revealed that the three citizens collaborated to forge official documents in order to unfairly obtain land. The criminal proceedings include charges of “Forgery of documents”, “Fraud”, “Laundering of proceeds of crime” and “Abuse of office”.
Justice bodies are continuing investigative actions to uncover other possible cases of concealment of income and abuse of office, as well as to document the involvement of other persons in this asset alienation scheme./noa.al
