Putin warns Europe: Let us live in peace, otherwise we will react

Russia has no aggressive intentions towards Europe and is ready to restore relations and cooperate with its European neighbors, Russian President Vladimir Putin has said.

Speaking at a meeting of the Military-Industrial Commission on Friday, Putin accused some European leaders of preparing for war with Russia and said they were using the conflict in Ukraine and the alleged Russian threat to justify their policies.

“I want to emphasize once again: Russia has no aggressive intentions towards Europe or European countries. There is no basis for this. We are ready to cooperate and rebuild relations with our European neighbors,” he said.

Putin has also criticized European countries for conducting military exercises in the Baltic Sea, claiming they include preparations for seizing civilian ships.
