NATO military chief: Soldiers, weapons and system are ready, we have about 4 thousand pages of plans

NATO’s military chief, Giuseppe Cavo Dragone, has stated that the Alliance is prepared for various scenarios, including a direct attack on one of its member countries.

Speaking about hybrid threats, Cavo Dragone said that such activities usually remain below the threshold that would automatically lead to the request for the activation of Article 5 of the North Atlantic Treaty.

He explained that a direct attack would constitute a completely different situation and would immediately bring Article 5, which establishes the Alliance’s principle of collective defense, to the agenda.
