A 25-year-old Albanian man was shot dead during an attempted robbery in Baldissero d’Alba, in the province of Cuneo, Italy.
Italian media report that the young Albanian man, along with several others, had entered a village house under renovation to rob it, but was killed by the Italian owner who opened fire in the middle of the night when he heard a noise.
The serious incident occurred around 2:00 AM, and the 35-year-old Italian owner was alone at home.
After hearing the noises, he took out his licensed gun and fired. Moments later, the homeowner himself called the police.
Emergency workers tried to save the young Albanian man, but were unsuccessful.
