A serious incident occurred this Monday evening in Jalë, where a 32-year-old woman, who had come to vacation in Himara and was staying at a hotel, lost her life after developing health problems.
According to preliminary police information, on 21.09.2026, at around 18:40, a report was received that the IR citizen, 32 years old, born in London, United Kingdom, who was accommodated in a hotel in Jalë, had shown health problems and had sought help at the hotel reception.
Hotel staff immediately transported the 32-year-old to the Health Center, where, despite the assistance provided, she passed away.
“Preliminary medical examinations suspect that the death was natural, as it turns out that the 32-year-old had health problems, specifically with breathing and diabetes,” the police announced.
The investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor’s Office, is continuing procedural actions and verifications to fully determine the cause of death.
