A serious and shocking event has struck Russia today, as local media report that an organized assassination has ended with the death of prominent Russian official, Dmitry Putin, 58.
According to initial reports, Putin was driving with his escort on one of Moscow’s main streets when unidentified gunmen opened fire on the armored vehicle. Witnesses described scenes of panic, explosions and screams, as special forces immediately surrounded the area.
The 58-year-old man was reported to have died on the spot, while several security personnel were seriously injured. Authorities have launched an intensive investigation, while the city has been put on high alert.
