Six children attending a kindergarten in the city of Korça have sought medical attention, after allegedly suffering from food poisoning.
The children have been taken to the Pediatrics ward at Korça Hospital, where they are receiving medical care. According to preliminary data, their health condition is not reported to be serious.
Initial suspicions are related to the food consumed in the garden, while the exact cause of the intoxication is still unknown.
Police have launched an investigation to clarify the circumstances of the incident. As part of the investigation, it is expected to verify the food consumed by the children, as well as the conditions in which it was prepared and served.
Health authorities are also expected to conduct relevant tests to determine the exact cause of the intoxication.
