A 19-year-old boy was found dead in Nikaj, Kaçanik.
According to initial police data, the victim is suspected of having committed suicide, IndeksOnline reports.
The case was confirmed by the police spokesman for the Ferizaj region, Kanun Veseli.
“On 03.10.2026, at around 13:30, the police were notified that in the village of Nikaj, Kaçanik, family members had found a 19-year-old man, with no signs of life.
Kaçanik police units, regional investigators, forensics and the medical team of the QKMF in Kaçanik arrived at the scene, and they confirmed the death.
“After examining the scene and the body, no elements of suspicion for the involvement of other persons have been identified,” Veseli declared.
He announced that the state prosecutor has also been notified of the case.
The latter has authorized regional investigators to continue their work until the circumstances of the case are fully clarified.
