A story from a year ago, which initially started on social media, would be the biggest nightmare of a 40-year-old woman, mother of two and wife as well. This 40-year-old lady went through a terrible situation, due to meeting the wrong person, who for 1 year had turned her life into hell.
It all started with an initial communication on social media with the name Soni Myftari. The 40-year-old says that the young man told her:
“I’ve been following you for 6 years. You don’t know me, but I see you when you pass by on the street. I’m so obsessed with you.”
But, closing it as a conversation there and not giving it any importance.
According to what he says, the lady has firmly rejected him from the very beginning, but the stalker has continued with the same insistence in demanding to have a story with her. Which takes the relationship between the two to another level. Because word after word and chat after chat, Soni, whose real name is Abasion Myftari, saves all the conversations and begins to use them as a tool of blackmail to achieve the goal he had set for himself.
And here, it seems that the woman falls into a trap.
Given the fact that they both lived in the same area in Greece, Myftari pressures her to meet him until he achieves his goal, while then constantly asking for intimate photos, which he would then use to almost hold the woman, who is the mother of a grown son, hostage. And when there comes a moment when the 40-year-old thinks about avoiding him, Myftari makes the next move, to hold her hostage.
All the conversations and photos exchanged by Abasioni are sent to his wife’s sister, even without any consolidated relationship between the two. We must emphasize that any such action with photos and texts saved for distribution is an act punishable by law. In Abasioni’s behavior, nothing was normal. Even the messages he sent to the 40-year-old every day had taken on deeply threatening notes.
Telling her that he would burn her with acid, kill her children, while also provoking every virtual friend or family member the woman had on her social media.
Under this unbearable pressure, the woman was forced to turn to the Greek Police, but also to the Berat Police, because the young man lived there, in the hope of resolving the matter without noise and family discord.
But even after this denunciation, things only got worse, thus worsening the young woman’s psychological state. The circle of people to whom the 32-year-old wanted to make his relationship with his wife known grew larger and larger. So, seeing that the noose was tightening, she decided to open up to her husband, telling him everything that had happened in those months.
But this woman’s move is like throwing gasoline on a fire that had reached frightening proportions.
But while the 40-year-old’s relationship with her husband and relatives was consolidated, the pursuer refused every request she made to stop this madness that no longer made any sense.
The woman says: ”I tried and contacted his family when things were going well, they were getting worse and worse. For a year and a half I begged them, I begged them to help me because I don’t want to hear him in prison, I don’t want to report him, I don’t want him to fight with my family, I don’t want any of that. Just give up and leave me because he’s destroying my family.”
But his sister’s opinion was completely different, saying:
“I’m telling you, we’ll all be there to defend you to your brother-in-law, to everyone because we’ll say he didn’t do anything. Save the family for later! Save the son for later, because life is very long! I know, I’m not saying you’re to blame, I don’t know very well that this guy is to blame.”

Throughout these 30 months, this woman and her family have shown great restraint, despite the fact that the situation has been extremely difficult to cope with. They have trusted in justice, which, although it has been put in motion, has done nothing to stop the threats that continue without interruption. But no one understood what could drive a man to hate so much that he would desperately want the death of a woman who had done him no harm in his life.
Faced with these conditions, the 40-year-old woman, along with the journalist from Piranja, headed to the Berat Police Department, where they reported Abasion Myftari for the fourth time, once again.
In cooperation with the city’s blue uniforms, Abasioni was found near a cafe on the outskirts of Berat. But he says he felt deceived by his wife and that the story is not as she reported.
