Sokol Olldashi’s wife, Enkelejda Olldashi, spoke today in a live broadcast on ‘Shqipëria Live’. She expressed that many things would be different if Olldashi were in the DP today.
Before Olldashi tragically lost his life in a car accident on November 20, 2013, he was a Democratic Party deputy in the Assembly, elected in the Fier District.
In the DP, he was a member of the Presidency and the National Council and just a few months earlier, in July 2013, he had run for president of the DP against Lulzim Basha.
He left the post of Minister of Public Works and Transport in September 2013, after the change of government.
“Many things could have been different in the political force he (Sokol Olldashi) was part of. It is not only the responsibility of this government, but of the entire establishment since ’91 until now.”
This revolt, we are against destruction, but it is an accumulated revolt that the ears of all politicians of all colors should hear. The boycott is a voluntary behavior of the students and none of the lecturers stimulate it, but we respect it. When the students are not in the auditorium, we should be where the students are and we are there”, she said.
