On the fourth day of the protest in Tirana, the protesters have almost all moved to the “Martyrs of the Nation” boulevard, near the Prime Minister’s Office.
Journalist Eni Ferhati reported that, although in smaller numbers, the protesters standing in front of the police platoons are all equipped with tear gas masks and are showing resistance, despite the police continuing to throw a lot of tear gas and water cannons at them.
‘The protesters today have come up with a different strategy, as all the people who are committing violent acts against the police are equipped with gas masks. Thus, the massive throwing of gas by the police is not removing them from where they are standing.
“It seems that this group is determined to stay and resist. Shortly before the police intervened, a group committed acts of violence at the Twin Towers,” the journalist said.
