Another not-so-pleasant situation was reported to have occurred yesterday, October 16, during the student protest in Tirana.
Several people took advantage of the chaos created on the streets near the Ministry of Education to enter a perfume shop and take valuables.
Security camera footage shows several people inside the business premises, removing perfumes and various furnishings.
What is striking is that, after taking the items, they leave the store and rejoin the crowd of protesters, mingling with the young people on the street.
Such actions are unrelated to the demands of the students who have come out in protest, but constitute acts of vandalism that take advantage of tense situations to commit theft.
The identification of the persons involved and their responsibility for the actions committed remain to be verified by the authorities.
