A video previously published on social media is coming back into the spotlight following the murder of 20-year-old Joan Zuko in Korça, for which Kristjan Sterjo has been arrested as the suspected perpetrator.
In the released footage, Sterjo is seen leaving a security institution, after his previous arrest for stabbing. Some of his friends were waiting for him outside with phones in their hands and filmed him as he left the institution.
What has attracted the most attention is the way the video is accompanied. In the background, a song is heard with the lines: “Maybe one day you’ll see me in the black chronicles.”
Meanwhile, photos and videos from their daily lives were constantly published on his and his social circle’s profiles, including footage of him leaving the security institution. Kristjan Sterjo was arrested on Saturday evening, a few hours after he was identified by the police as the main suspect in the murder of Joan Zuko in Korça.
According to the investigation, the incident is suspected to have occurred after a previous conflict between the two young men. Investigations are ongoing to fully clarify the circumstances and motive of the crime.
