Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić has reacted again, after his statements that Serbia is looking at the possibility of diverting the flow of the Ibar River, which supplies Lake Ujman, vital for Kosovo’s water needs, caused a widespread reaction from the Albanian factor.
For RTS, Vučić, following the exchanges between Pristina and Belgrade, stated that the displacement of the Ibar River’s flow is “our internal matter.”
“I don’t know what connection Ibri has with Albania,” President Vučić said further.
The President of Serbia also commented on why his statement on the Ibar River prompted the Albanian side to contact Brussels and where it was announced that a working group would be established.
“We have a problem somewhere around Ribaric, let’s see, let’s see what it’s about, and then we’ll see,” Vučić said.
He stressed that Albanians “have to do this to cover up all their crimes against the Serbian people – arrests, harassment, bullying of Serbs, demolition of houses, literal beatings of Serbs just because Serbs are everywhere.”
According to him, “terror is being carried out together with the bodies of the international community to undermine Serbia’s institutions in Kosovo every day and to strengthen institutions that have no connection with international law and were not established in accordance with the norms of public international law.”
