A drop in temperatures is expected in the coming days across the country. On Friday, the thermometer values, according to the Institute of Geosciences, will reach up to 36 degrees Celsius in low-lying areas, while on the coast they will not exceed 34 degrees Celsius.
However, the risk of fires has not passed. The drought of recent days favors the flames.
In some parts of the territory, such as the regions of Shkodra, Lezha, Durrës, Tirana, Elbasan, Fier and Gjirokastra, the Institute of Geosciences predicts a higher risk. While in the regions of Dibër, Kukës, Korçë and Vlorë, the risk is moderate.
But meteorologists also predict rainfall that could help extinguish potential fires in high-risk areas.
On Friday afternoon and Saturday, rainfall is expected mainly in hilly and mountainous areas. However, meteorologists say that it will be local and short-lived.
