The Minister of Internal Affairs, Besfort Lamallari, today introduced the new acting director of the General Directorate of Fire Protection and Rescue, Ervis Gjoshi, who will exercise the duty of acting director of this institution.
“With an 18-year career in the State Police, with extensive experience in leading security structures, as Deputy Director for Order and Security at the DVP Tirana and previously as Chief of the Police Station in Dibër, he brings to this task the experience and responsibility necessary for such an important structure. The review of the legal framework for the MZSH and a national fire prevention program remain priorities for the task entrusted to him”, says Minister Lamallari.
Following his reaction, Lamallari says that citizens should have a professional, organized service, ready at all times and that addresses the complex challenges of emergencies.
“Prevention is the major goal of the Albanian government and what Albanian citizens expect most,” emphasizes the Minister of Internal Affairs.
Ervis Gjoshi takes office after Arben Cara’s resignation from the leadership of the Ministry of Defense.
