An incident was recorded on August 5th between the repentant justice official, Nuredin Dumani, and one of the Witness Protection Police officers.
The incident occurred around 8:00 am, when Officer Rexhep Sina approached another fugitive from justice, Erjon Alibej.
The presence of the officer near Alibey allegedly made Duman nervous, who then threw the bucket of water at Officer Sina, hitting him.
After the incident, Rexhep Sina filed a report with the Tirana Prosecutor’s Office, requesting the initiation of proceedings for the criminal offense of “Assault due to duty”.
The event is already at the attention of the authorities, who are expected to verify the full circumstances and dynamics of the incident.
