He was executed with a bullet to the head, the last movements of the 35-year-old Albanian in Italy are revealed, how did the body end up in the river?!

The Carabinieri in Padua have intensified their investigation into the murder of Ferdinant Hoti, a 35-year-old Albanian man whose body was found inside a submerged vehicle in the Tergola River. The victim was identified through fingerprints.

Investigators are trying to reconstruct the contacts and recent movements of the victim, who did not have a registered address but lived in Mirano. The main suspicion is that he was not killed where the body was found, but in another area, while it is suspected that he was executed in Venice.

The victim is suspected of being killed by a bullet to the head. The Carabinieri are analyzing security cameras in San Giorgio delle Pertiche and surrounding areas, in order to trace the route of the Fiat Bravo vehicle in which the body was located.

In parallel, authorities are analyzing data from telephone antennas activated during the night between Monday and Tuesday, when the body is suspected to have been hidden. Investigators do not rule out the involvement of more than one person and are verifying possible links with people involved in drug distribution in the Mirano area.

A previous incident under investigation

The investigation is also focused on another incident that occurred in Mirano between June 30 and July 1, when an Albanian citizen was shot in the shoulder while returning home with his partner. According to the investigation at the time, the attack was allegedly carried out by two people (of Albanian nationality) who were waiting for him near the apartment.

Investigators are analyzing the camera footage chronologically, going back in time to determine when and where the vehicle arrived. It is suspected that the perpetrators had a good look at the area where they sank the car with Hoti’s dead body.
