Chief Inspector General, Dashnor Sula, spoke this Friday on Top News about cases of nepotistic hiring interventions, also mentioning a case where a senior leader of the Socialist Party had asked him to hire his son in a management position.
Sula said that he had informed Prime Minister Edi Rama about the situation, to whom he had sent a message. During the interview, he also published the audio response he received from the head of government.
In his message, Rama is heard telling Sula not to pay attention to such requests. Sula stated that the prime minister has always maintained a principled stance against nepotistic hiring.
“No, this guy’s son, no, that guy’s son. What are these conversations? Don’t listen to them at all,” Rama is heard saying in the message to Sula.
