After Neomalsora’s departure and clash with Spiropali, Rama clashes with Braça at the SP meeting

At a closed-door meeting of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group, Prime Minister Edi Rama called for increased engagement of MPs on social networks, emphasizing the need to communicate more about government work and projects.

According to sources from the meeting, Rama assessed that the government’s achievements and investments are not receiving due attention on online platforms, underlining the role of “algorithms” in the distribution of public information.

“We produce work, but it doesn’t get the attention it deserves from the algorithm,” the prime minister is reported to have said during the discussion.

During the meeting, debates were also held with MP Erion Braçe, where the focus was on his frequent posts on social networks about the issue of urban waste management.

According to sources, Rama has criticized the fact that these posts mainly highlight problematic cases, calling for a more balanced reflection of the situation.

For his part, Braçe has argued that public denunciations are related to still unresolved issues and that their purpose is to incite institutional reaction.

The meeting took place in a climate of internal discussion on political communication and the management of the government’s public image on social networks.
