The Chairman of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla, has reacted to the statements of US Senator Bernie Sanders regarding the protests in Tirana.
Sanders wrote that in Tirana there is a protest against the global oligarchy.
Following this reaction, Balla responded to the American senator, accusing him of involvement in a disinformation campaign.
“Don’t use Albania as cannon fodder to hit your political opponent.”
“This is a disinformation campaign involving Iran and other malign actors, with anti-Semitic content,” Balla wrote in his response, while Prime Minister Rama also responded to Sanders earlier.
