“We have come to bring Rama the garbage we collected in Zvërnec, since the government did not collect it.” With this ironic message, Dardani and his sister ascended the protest podium, holding bags of garbage collected, according to them, in the Zvërnec area.
This Saturday, the seventh protest against the project in Zvërnec and the Rama government began.
The gathered citizens have articulated calls for the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama and political change in the country.
The protest comes after a week of mobilization in Tirana and in parallel with support rallies organized in other cities in the country and by the Albanian diaspora in several cities in Europe and the United States.
