A brutal crime in which a man was shot dead by unknown assailants while getting into his car occurred in the early hours of Wednesday in the Esenyurt neighborhood of Istanbul, Turkey.
The cold-blooded execution occurred around 5 a.m. when Semus Mert K. went to his car to open the door.
Then two unknown men appeared, one of whom approached the victim and shot him several times. As can be seen in the security camera video that recorded the moment of execution, the man who opened fire also fired the final shot at Mert K. According to Turkish media, the victim of the execution was married and the father of a child. His wife, in fact, was the first to arrive at the crime scene and suffered a nervous breakdown upon seeing her dead husband.
Turkish police investigations are continuing to identify the two perpetrators who fled in an unknown direction after the execution, with the motive for the crime still unclear.
