The story of 45-year-old Valter Lleshi, who was killed two days ago in the Reps area of Mirdita, has been brought to attention.
Speaking to journalist Semiljana Azizi, Lekë Arapi, Valter Lleshi’s uncle, emphasized that a grenade had previously been placed under his nephew’s car, but it had not exploded.
He then said that Valter Lleshi had no connection to the 2020 incident in which Anton Keli was killed. Otherwise, according to him, the state should have acted.
“How did the state allow it until today that he was killed. Why didn’t they catch that boy before it happened since he was at the scene? The state has operatives, security, police, all those forms. Why didn’t the state punish him? Why didn’t they catch him and let him go?”
Valteri had a case that was reported and where they planted a grenade on his car at the construction site where he was working. It had no effect, it did not explode. Those who know know.
“Regarding the incident of that boy who was killed in 2020, why wasn’t this boy mentioned here before Valteri was killed? The newspapers make us angry. They do us a lot of harm,” said uncle Lekë Arapi.
Asked by the journalist if his nephew had expressed any concerns recently, he replied that “I don’t know, whether they have competition from the company or whether there are any workers… No information, he hasn’t said anything.”
Regarding the suspicions about the event, Lekë Arapi further stated that “for God’s sake, I don’t know what suspicions, I don’t know who to point the finger at.”
Meanwhile, Valter Lleshi’s mother, for her part, has ruled out the possibility that the incident occurred out of revenge.
“What assassination? Why didn’t the police catch him for the assassination? Why didn’t the police catch him? Don’t kill me a second time because I’m a woman without a husband,” said Valter Lleshi’s mother.
