Prime Minister Edi Rama’s friend and client, Israeli Ron Yeffet, with a record as a fraudster and on trial in the US, has sunk his “claws” into another strategic sector of national security in Albania, a business from which he will profit millions of euros with just formal papers.

According to information available to “Pamphlet”, Prime Minister Edi Rama has prepared a 20-year concession for Israeli Ron Yeffet to administer the state fuel reserve, which will be used in cases of crisis of international market blockage.

The state oil reserve, which must guarantee no less than 90 days of supply, will be administered, managed and sold by a State Authority for Fuel Reserves, established by law.

But the State Authority, with a board composed of the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Energy, and the Ministry of Economy, will have a formal role, as according to information, the fuel reserve will be administered by Israeli mafia figure Ron Yeffet.

Security experts say that fuel reserves should be managed only by state entities, not by private concession, even if certified by partner security agencies.

Because even according to the law, it is categorically prohibited to be administered by private entities, especially by foreigners, and even worse, with criminal records and illegal activities in the US and several NATO member countries, such as Israeli Ron Yeffet.

But Prime Minister Edi Rama, ignoring this legal obligation of national security, has decided to give the administration of Albania’s state fuel reserve to his friend and client Ron Yeffet, with a 20-year concession and great profit.

To ensure the state reserve of 250 thousand tons of fuel, Prime Minister Edi Rama has drafted a law to add another tax to the fuel market, which consumers will pay in the final price of fuel purchases.

The total value of this tax is expected to be around 300 million euros and will be treated as “concessionary income”, while according to information from the Ministry of Finance, 25% of the value, equal to 75 million euros, will be given to Israeli Ron Yeffet, for allegedly guaranteeing and administering the fuel reserve, which includes his negotiation with importing companies.

According to information provided by “Pamphlet”, Prime Minister Edi Rama’s Israeli friend and client has made a formal application to the government to obtain the right to a 20-year concession for the state fuel reserve.

He submitted the request on behalf of his company “1820 Black Oil” Sh.pk, with activities of importing and trading fuels, established on December 15, 2023, with capital of 3.5 million lek and a deposit address in Porto Romano-Durres.
