Kosovo Police have announced that a person has been arrested in Ferizaj on suspicion of ”serious bodily harm” and ”threats”.
Police added that the suspect, RS, has been taken into custody for 48 hours.
”On 15.05.2026, on the Pristina – Skopje highway, a traffic incident and physical assault occurred. The suspect RS, after overtaking and blocking the victim AT with his vehicle, physically attacked the latter, causing serious bodily injuries. The victim received medical treatment at the Emergency Center of the Ferizaj Hospital,” the police announced.

The Investigation Unit of the police station has arrested and detained a person suspected of two criminal offenses.
On 15.05.2026, on the Pristina – Skopje highway, a traffic incident and physical assault occurred. The suspect RS, after overtaking and blocking the victim AT with his vehicle, physically attacked the latter, causing serious bodily injuries. The victim received medical treatment at the Emergency Center of the Ferizaj Hospital.
During the investigation, the police also interviewed the victim’s daughter, AT (the suspect’s ex-wife), who stated that she was threatened over the phone by the suspect RS. As material evidence, she submitted two audio recordings in which threatening words can be heard.
The suspect was interviewed in the presence of the defense attorney, during which he admitted to committing the criminal offenses.
In connection with this case, by decision of the state prosecutor, a case was initiated for the criminal offenses of “Serious Bodily Injury” and “Threat”, while the suspect RS was taken into custody for 48 hours.
