Speaking on a Mexican podcast, the former congresswoman elected by the Sinaloa cartel, who cooperated with US justice and testified during El Chapo’s trial in New York City, spoke of psychological abuse and constant control by El Chapo.

“I had Stockholm syndrome,” she said in an interview with journalist Adela Micha, revealing that the drug trafficker constantly monitored her during their relationship.
