The plenary session was accompanied by tensions between the majority and the opposition, where the center of the debate was the protests held in the capital and their political messages.
The head of the Socialist Party parliamentary group, Taulant Balla, stated that the majority has a clear governing mandate and that its focus remains Albania’s integration into the European Union.
“We are being told here today that the protest has achieved its first success and has been removed from non grata. That’s what you said. You even changed the slogan, sir, because the protesters have given it the right.”
731C on which Berisha was declared non grata is difficult to remove.. But I will comment on it as soon as the DASH or the Embassy comes out with an official announcement. Sell this as an achievement of the protest…
“We have a mandate to govern the country and complete EU integration. We have defeated you and we will defeat you more deeply in 2029,” he said.
