A movie-like robbery was recorded in the early hours of Tuesday in Ramsey, Cambridgeshire in the UK. The perpetrators used a crane to rip an ATM from a branch of Nationwide Building Society.
The incident occurred after 03:15 in the morning, with the perpetrators managing to drive away and flee the scene. Security camera footage captures the moment when two vehicles stop near the bank branch, while a crane appears shortly after.
The heavy vehicle repeatedly hits the facade of the building until it “knocks” the ATM out of position. A group of masked men load the ATM into the back of a truck and leave the scene.
Seconds later, two more people get into a second vehicle and drive away. In a statement, Nationwide Building Society said it was aware of the incident and was working to get the branch back up and running in the coming days, while the ATM would be replaced as soon as possible.
