Belinda Balluku arrived at SPAK to be briefed on the charges at around 1:50 PM, while her lawyer, Ardian Kalia, entered the premises of the Special Prosecution Office a little earlier.
Balluku has been officially charged for the other 6 lots of the Tirana Ring Road, while previously she was officially charged for lot 4 and the Llogara Tunnel tender.
Regarding the latter, a day ago, the extension of the investigation was communicated to her two former subordinates, Gentian Gjyli and Erald Elezi, and the same is expected to be communicated to Balluku himself.
Meanwhile, the investigation into corruption and money laundering continues, related to two tenders worth over 1 million euros at the time when Balluku was the General Director of “Albcontrol”.
SPAK says that tenders were awarded to a construction company in violation, and Balluku received a bribe of a villa in Dhërmi worth 145 thousand euros, which was seized by yesterday’s decision of the GJKKO.
