The disputed investment projects in the coastal and island areas of Zvërnec and Sazan have brought a massive reaction from citizens and environmental activists. Under the slogan “We have no land for sale”, citizens on social networks have warned of a wide wave of national and international protests, calling for “Dialogue to take place in the square”.
According to the poster distributed on social media, which features the image of a flamingo stopping an excavator, the revolt continues today.
According to the published calendar:
Tirana (June 3): The rally starts at 6:00 PM at Skanderbeg Square, from where citizens will march towards the Prime Minister’s Office.
Durrës (June 3): At 4:00 PM, in front of the Municipality and in front of the Palace of Culture.
The organizers announce that for June 4th and 5th, the schedule and location for Tirana will be confirmed and published one day in advance.
