“That clown”/ Socialist MP makes strong request for the organizer of the march towards Rinas

Socialist Party MP Ardit Bido, invited to Euronews Albania, spoke about yesterday’s protest, where citizens marched towards Mother Teresa Airport in Rinas.

He said that Albanian society has moved from protests for basic needs (survival) to protests for dignity, which indicates a higher level of social awareness and greater well-being. Bido warns that protests are often dominated by ideas or orientations that are not related to the real demands of citizens, but that lead them towards foreign interests or against the national interest. He calls these “anti-national” and says that they must be eliminated.

“A society that has moved from survival protests to dignity protests, which indicates a higher level of social awareness, which in itself implies a better level of overall well-being.”

“I stand very strongly, and especially after yesterday, even more strongly, to what I have said once, which I have said consistently, that the anti-national theses that are placed above the protest and that mislead people towards interests that are clearly to the detriment of our national interest, are the ones that must be eradicated from this,” said Bido.

Regarding yesterday’s march where a group of young people blocked the highway and went towards the airport. According to him, the young people did not have hostile intentions, but someone directed them towards a critical infrastructure (the airport), which is unacceptable and dangerous. Bido emphasizes that airports and hospitals are facilities that are blocked only in cases of coup d’état or war. Therefore, he considers the act of directing the protesters towards Rinas as an anti-national act.

He distinguishes between the young people who protested without malicious intent and the person or persons who directed them to the airport. He says the latter should be identified and imprisoned.

“Yesterday we saw it and I followed it very closely. I actually wanted to react at 1:00 in the morning, but good friends suggested that I not react as strongly as I had planned.

Yesterday we saw a group of 200-300 young people, who I am convinced are clean people, who have whatever individual reasons we need to look into this a little further.

So those who blocked the highway and went towards, who went, I’m not standing on the highway, who went towards Rinas. Now, the one who… don’t tell me that 300 people said: “What are we going to do today? We’re going to Rinas.” That in Rinas, the one who directed them towards something that is critical infrastructure, has undoubtedly committed an anti-national act. Airports and everything that is planned as critical infrastructure, for anyone who doesn’t understand, it’s not just the airport, it was also the hospital.

Airports are blocked and blocked in situations of coup and war. Coup and war. Those 300 who went, none of them had this tendency. But that clown, that anti-national who said “Let’s go to the airport”, he should be identified and imprisoned today,” he said.
